Tyler’s Response:
In our private class blog, students comment on each others’ strong mathematical thinking based on co-created criteria. Students also look for their own strong mathematical thinking. Here are the posts for Tyler’s mathcast:
Jay said, “I notice when when you was figering out what all you were doing and when you wrote down the numbers in the book and then muitply 20 and 4 and got 80 and when you divided 80 and 5 and got 16. ”
Tyler said, “I noticed my own strong mathematical thinking was me working out the whole problem, writing down my answer chioces(even if I was a little late on that part), and me checking my work.”
